Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Holidays

Happy holidays everyone! I hope you all had a good Christmas, and for those who do not celebrate Christmas I hope you are having a good holiday.
Christmas was pretty quiet this year, no big presents, just a bunch of smaller things. New Years is going to be pretty quiet as well since all of my friends are busy doing stuff with their families so we can't do a party this year.

I got two more years of subscription when they ran the two for one deal.

I'm now subscribed until 2012!

I also realized that I hit 6k pageviews today. I happened to be on my profile and I just noticed it said 6k exactly.

Project 52 is almost done, only one photo left to go! I can't believe I'm finally at the end already.

I bought a new graphics tablet since my old one was having issues. I think it was driver issues but I gave up trying to fight with it and got a new one. I got a Wacom Bamboo Fun medium size. I can't wait for it arrive, hopefully it will come tomorrow. I believe I also get Photoshop Elements 8 with the tablet so I might start using that for my photos and see if I like it.

Also, I'm probably moving back to Canada this summer. Nothing is definite yet but it looks probable.

If you haven't gone and seen the new Tron movie yet, go do it, in Imax. It was amazing! I love the soundtrack as well, I've listened to it over and over. I'm hoping to go see the movie again but in Imax this time. The first time I saw it was in normal 3D, I think Imax 3D would be incredible. My favourite character is probably Quorra, she's pretty awesome.
