It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

I'm still here, reading my messages everyday but that's about it. I seem to have died artistically. I've been finished my summer job for over a week now, moved in to my new house and all that but I've been too lazy to actually make any art.

I feel horrible about it, I have a whole summer to do something and I'm not doing anything.

Anyways...

I recently joined

, so hopefully I should get some sort of inspiration from there. Plus they are having an origami contest and I love origami so I am going to try and make something for that.

I saw Harry Potter 6 on Sunday, it was good but a lot was changed from the book. The movies focuses mainly on relationships between the characters and overall it was very dark, both in themes and in lighting (I don't remember a single brightly lit scene in the whole movie). Plus they added stuff into the movie that doesn't happen in the book, so I don't know how they are going to work with that in the next two movies. I still like the book better though after seeing the movie, it's definitely not my favourite movie of the series.

Otherwise, nothing is happening here, although I supposed I could make something happen, but I'm too lazy to do that. I've been wasting most of my time watching Heroes and pixelling on iScribble.
